I love that line about wet matches… At least we have some fire-making equipment, even if it soggy!
I think the Ghost Ship is my favorite from these photos; such beautiful colors. Although I wouldn’t say no to a wall of orchids.

Hi Pauline! Thanks so much for all the kind words.

I’m more envious of my boots, and happy they’ve turned into frequent vs “special occasion: non-rainy day” boots. The lace skirt is an interesting experiment but a little hard for me to de-tablecloth, but then I’m not particularly imaginative with styling. The green vs purple choice is one I can’t make, though — the plus side of wearing mostly colors one loves!

FYI, I’m pretty tough love-y when I shop with pals who say they’re on a mission. You might want to shop with “Fun Vix” instead, ha.

Wow, gorgeous post! I love what you’ve shown here and am more than a little envious of your taupe boots and your new ivory/taupe skirt. The definition of a ‘mullet’ outfit made me laugh and I can’t decide if I’m more smitten with your greens or your purples. Or maybe your neutrals! I would love to go shopping with you… I think maybe you could make a nice sideline career in advising people…

Thanks so much for stopping by during such a busy time for you, much less commenting. I admit the animal portrait collage is one of my favorites…every single one of the subjects had a lot of personality. And I didn’t do the Reserve justice, but hope folks get a feel for what an amazingly peaceful and stunning place it is.

I’m with you on the juice; pity I’m too lazy to DIY!

Your photos are always a pleasure but I particularly love the dog/turtle/goose collection and the three that you grouped (with the rooster) from the Waimea Valley Reserve.
